From the well equipped kitchen, the pillow-top beds to the games room complete with a pool table, this cottage screams comfort and fun! Cozy up in front of the wood burning stove in the winter or around the outdoor fire pit in the summer.
Snowmobilers will love the large garage; no more cold morning start-ups. The garage can comfortably hold 6 snowmobiles.
Location:
Located in the Muskokas, 20 Minutes north of scenic Huntville, and 12 minutes east of Highway 11 at (Three Mile Lake exit). 15 minutes to Birks falls (to the north), a short drive to Algonquin Park. This year round cottage is situated in the North west area of Three Mile Lake, a 2.5 hour drive from Toronto. Only 35 minutes to Hidden Valley Ski Resort.
Cottage property:
Situated on 1.5 acres. The property is beautifully treed and landscaped with natural rock gardens. The waterside front lawn gently slopes to a large level grassy area perfect for badminton, lawn darts, horse shoes or an ‘all out’ game of touch football. There is a large fire pit great for those cool summer nights and roasting marshmallows. 580’ of water frontage with a shallow, gradual entry and a hard packed sandy bottom and sandy beach is perfect for families with young children. Enjoy a canoe or paddleboat ride around the lake; explore the quiet cove or small bay in which this cottage is located.
Cottage details:
Newly renovated and decorated in the fall of 2009, this 2000 square foot spacious, modern, fully equipped cottage is complete with laundry facilities. All rooms are spectacularly decorated with walls and walls of Canadian art to enjoy.
You will love the water front view from the large open concept kitchen, dining room and comfortable living room. The large bright kitchen is well equipped, complete with a dishwasher and microwave oven. A modern stainless steel Napoleon gas BBQ is conveniently located on the large deck located off of the dining room.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed; the second larger bedroom sleeps 5 (having two sets of bunk beds: one single over single, and one single over double). All beds are new with pillow-top mattresses. In the lower floor games room, there is a lazy-boy queen size sofa bed with an air bed pillow-top mattress. Each bedroom has a dresser and loads of closet space. While the cottage is available to groups no larger than 8, it is set-up to sleep up to 11 people comfortably (additional charges would apply).
There are two large bathrooms, one on each floor. Each equipped with sink, toilet and either a bath or shower.
After a fun day out of doors, or for those rainy days, enjoy the indoors with a game of pool, darts, puzzles and board games. A new flat screen T.V. and DVD player are available for your viewing. If you prefer a quieter time, curl up in front of the wood burning stove with a good book. The lower level has a walk out to the yard and waterfront, (an amazing scenic view0.
